JURA's CLARIS Smart+ filter cartridge is an intelligent water filter that takes coffee quality to the next level. With coffee being 98 percent water, the quality of water is crucial for the perfect coffee experience. This revolutionary water filter technology ensures extra hygiene in your fully automatic coffee machine right from the water tank, increasing protection, product safety, and service life.

At the lower end, the CLARIS filter cartridge has a depot with natural active ingredients that stabilize the water and reduce limescale deposits. This natural process occurs as the water flows lightly through the depot, without any additional energy or action. The upper part of the cartridge uses ion exchange and activated carbon to filter the exact amount of water needed for a perfect cup of coffee, thanks to the upflow principle.

RFID technology allows the machine to detect the filter and automatically activate the correct mode, providing information on filter usage and capacity. This simplifies the filter replacement process and maximizes the effectiveness of the CLARIS Smart+ filter.
