The lower end of the CLARIS filter cartridge is equipped with a depot containing natural active ingredients. These ingredients stabilize the water in the tank and reduce limescale deposits without requiring additional energy or intervention, as the water naturally flows through the depot. The upper part of the filter cartridge uses an ion exchange and activated carbon to filter the precise amount of water needed for each cup of coffee, ensuring optimal taste.

RFID technology allows the fully automatic machine to detect the presence of a filter and automatically activates the correct mode. It also collects information on filter usage and alerts you when the capacity is exhausted, making it easier than ever to change the filter and ensuring the full effectiveness of the CLARIS Smart+.
